Description

The epic plushie project this time around (though he’s a close second to the complex mini I’m working on right now), I am proud to present one of my favorite plushie commissions to date. Here’s a plushie of Arthur Kirkland from Hetalia for the always awesome :iconwhite7777:

I think this guy needs a bit of fanfare, don’t you think? Maybe it’s just the collar and the cuffs that make me think that. ;p When she contacted me about making this guy for her, I was really excited for the opportunity!! :squee: I had the perfect reference in mind, which was the medium doll that *Yuki87 made not too long ago, which blew my mind when I first saw him. :wow: This character demands to be made into plushies, as beautiful as that costume is!!

And, she said it wasn’t necessary, but I went ahead and made the pirate hat to go with him. ^^; When I got done with his hair, and was getting ready to do his eyes, he just looked naked without it!! So, after looking at a couple of cool cosplay hats, I eventually figured it out. And I’m glad I did.

Thanks for such a cool commission, *white7777 He was a blast to put together for you!!

I'm thinking of making my own plushie Pirate!England, and wanted to ask you what materials you used to make his face. I'm having a hard time deciding between 'textil stift' (don't know what it is in english, it's a pen that draws on cloth) or to cut out a mouth and eyes and sew them on.
